About Us

Seed to Scale Talent is a contract staffing agency for the beverage industry.  We are tackling the prohibitive costs of quality sales support for growing brands from a new perspective. Our team has extensive experience BOTH in the beverage AND recruiting industries. Like any recruiting service, you interview and select your sales consultants, and they report directly into you without any middlemen.  By utilizing a contract staffing model for outside sales representatives in the beverage industry, Seed to Scale Talent provides emerging brands with the experienced, connected sales support they need right out of the gate.

Jennifer Meacham
Founder and CEO

As a beverage industry professional turned recruiter, Jennifer is using her unique combination of skills and experience to revolutionize the hiring model for growing food and beverage brands.  With 15 years of sales and sales management experience, Jennifer knows WHO it takes to successfully build brands.  But she also understands that it has historically been cost- prohibitive for emerging brands to gain access to the quantity AND quality of people necessary to launch your brand in a meaningful and sustainable way.  Seed to Scale Talent is the solution to this pervasive problem in our industry. By utilizing a contract staffing model for outside sales representatives in the beverage industry, emerging brands can get the experienced, connected sales support they need right out of the gate.

  • Jennifer began her 15+ years in the beverage industry with some of the most iconic brands out there.  After cutting her teeth with a small, growing distributor in Boston, MA, she joined Marnier LaPostalle as a Brand Ambassador representing their gorgeous, lesser-known Sancerre brand across the US.  Soon after in 2010, she was hired by Ste Michelle Wine Estates to cover the Boston market, pounding the pavement and securing placements in top restaurants and retailers throughout the area.  Jennifer was then promoted to a State Manager position in the Mid-Atlantic.  She relocated south to manage the Mid-Atlantic, covering all 20+ brands and representing approx. $15 mi in revenue annually, as well as leading a sales team.  After many years of learning and thriving with Ste Michelle Wine Estates, she was recruited into a Division Manager position with the luxury division of Palm Bay, growing her team and territory.

However, in 2019, after 15 years of success, growth, fantastic wine, food, friends, travel and, of course, countless quotas and scorecards, Jen made the decision to leave the beverage industry.  She was seeking a rewarding, people-centric industry that landed her at home with her young children by 5 pm and in bed by 10.   But as a consummate salesperson, she also needed the thrill of the hunt, the chase, and the close.  A dear friend who has known her for years, and is himself a recruiter, assured her that she was meant for this industry… and it turns out, he was right.  Recruiting checked all the boxes and draws on her greatest strengths of making connections, remembering everyone she’s ever met, and remaining in constant communication with people.  So, she took the leap and dove into the industry at Robert Half.  There she received the best recruiting boot camp training out there.  Jen then moved on to a wonderful boutique recruiting firm, Who Staffing, where she was able to focus on sales, marketing, and HR positions for small to mid-sized companies throughout the Mid-Atlantic.  She continued to hone the craft of recruiting, further developing her understanding of different processes for different positions and learning more about industry and market trends.  She gained exposure to full-time direct hire recruitment, as well as the fast-paced world of contract recruiting.

In 2023, Jennifer was recruited by a former colleague and friend to partner in BoozeBiz, a recruiting agency focused on the beverage industry.  There she helped build and grow the company, first with a focus entirely on full time direct hire recruiting and eventually building out a fractional shared sales program to meet the needs of the current market. Jennifer took the training and exposure to contract staffing that she received at Robert Half and Who Staffing and applied it to the changing demands of the beverage industry.   As the fractional business exploded, it became clear that it struck a chord in today’s market and needed more room to grow and evolve.  As such in summer of 2025, Jennifer parted ways with BoozeBiz and formed Seed to Scale Talent to focus entirely on Contract Staffing for the beverage industry, and the Brand Cultivator, our Shared Sales program, in particular.   Seed to Scale Talent is committed to continuing to innovate, improve and grow to meet the hiring and staffing needs of emerging food and beverage brands.

When not meeting with candidates and clients, Jen lives in Baltimore, MD, with her two daughters, and her extremely needy dog, Tela.  She loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling with her girls, reading and being outside in all fashions!

Kayla O’Neill
National Brand Cultivator Recruiter

Kayla brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from her 5 years as a top on-premise sales rep for Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits of Arizona, as well as her 3 years of recruiting experience. Kayla began her career in beverage bartending at ASU bars after college. From there she landed a full book Sales Representative job at Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits of Arizona where she fell in love with the wine and spirits business. After spending the majority of her 20s at SGWS, she was ready for a change when opportunity in the recruiting arose. She has always had a passion to help people and see them succeed, so recruiting came naturally to her.

  • In 2023, her two careers merged when the dream opportunity to join BoozeBiz, a recruiting agency for the beverage industry, came her way.  There she has strengthened and polished her recruiting skills, developed a top reputation for caring deeply about her candidates and built out a database of top industry professionals.  When she began at BoozeBiz, she was entirely focused on full-time Direct Hire recruiting, but as the company grew and evolved she was asked to recruit fractional shared sales representatives as well.  While initially tentative about the whirlwind pace of contract recruiting, she grew to love it because it enables her to help a higher volume of the incredible talent that is currently on the market.  Kayla has come to thrive in contract recruiting and has helped countless independent consultants build their own businesses and gain stability in a volatile market.   She is currently sharing her time at BoozeBiz, working on full-time direct hire positions, as well as Seed to Scale Talent, building out the Brand Cultivator (aka shared sales representative) program.

Kayla resides in sunny Arizona with her dog Lilly and spends her weekends on the lake or hiking. After just one call with Kayla, you will feel confident that your career is in good hands with her killer combo of empathy, top notch organizational skills, beverage industry background, and recruiting expertise.
